The Georgsmarienhütte GmbH steel mill, based in Georgsmarienhütte/Germany, commissioned two new EKU-K spraying machines from VELCO in January 2022 without any problems.
One pressure vessel gunning machine is located at the electric arc furnace, the second pressure vessel gunning machine was installed at the ladle repair area.
The gunning machines have a pressure vessel of 1200l and a hopper of 1500l. In accordance with the VELCO philosophy, the machines are customized, engineered and manufactured to customer specifications.
Included are the following features:
- Pneumatically operated hinged lid
- Forklift and crane mobility
- Modern Siemens S7 1500 PLC control
- Preparation for later upgrading of load cells
- Spacious working platforms
