The pictures show a new, automatic VELCO gunning installation type TR54 for RH-snorkels at a customer in Brazil.
This gunning manipulator allows the inside and outside gunning of the RH snorkels, this is necessary for a high operative availability of the RH-installation. The refractory repair of the snorkels is performed without endangering the operation staff.
The gunning manipulator is fed with gunning material by 2 pressure vessel gunning machines via a pipe/hose line of approx. 40 m.
